How RaiseDesk handles information submitted through this website, including the waitlist and Careers applications.
1. Scope
This policy describes how RaiseDesk Technologies Inc. (“RaiseDesk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information collected through raisedesk.io and related website features, including the waitlist, Careers applications, and communications with us. Separate terms or notices may apply to a future RaiseDesk platform or other services.
2. Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect the name, email address, company name, and website you provide. After joining, you may optionally provide a short note, pitch deck, or voice pitch. We use this information to review your request and contact you about access.
When you apply for a role, we collect your name, email address, resume, optional LinkedIn or portfolio link, message, the role you selected, and the time of submission. We use these materials to assess your application and communicate with you about the role.
If you contact us, we collect the information in your message and any materials you choose to send. Our website and service providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request times, and security logs needed to operate and protect the site.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the website, review waitlist requests and job applications, respond to inquiries, send administrative messages, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. We may review optional waitlist materials to understand a company and prioritize invitations. We do not use Careers applications to assess eligibility for unrelated services.
5. Automated tools
The current website does not use an automated decision system to accept or reject job applicants or waitlist requests. If we introduce AI-assisted review or other new uses of submitted materials, we will update this notice before using them for that purpose.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described above and for applicable legal, security, and recordkeeping needs. Retention can vary by type of record. You may ask us to review or delete information we hold about you, subject to applicable exceptions. Optional waitlist materials can be removed through the waitlist interface while your entry token is available.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect submitted information. Careers resumes are stored in a private bucket and accessed through authenticated admin tools. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Processing locations
Our service providers may process information outside your province or country. Laws governing access to information in those locations may differ from those where you live.
9. Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Contact lior@raisedesk.io with a privacy request. You can choose not to provide optional waitlist context or an optional application profile link.
11. Children
The website is intended for business users and job applicants, and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
12. Changes and contact
